A Birthday Celebration in Antigua: Experience Sheer Rocks 

Happy birthday my love. 

I surprised my husband with a birthday trip to CocoBay Resort. He was away on military orders during his actual birthday, so I packed his suitcase with all of his love letters and birthday gifts, and made him vow to wait to open them until I gave him the okay. His birthday finally arrived, and I was able to share my excitement with him. The countdown for our reunion and our fantastic birthday trip had begun. 

CocoBay Resort is well known for their romantic atmosphere, their tiny huts overlooking the ocean, and their world-famous Sheer Rocks restaurant. The restaurant is built into the side of the cliff with private pools and cabanas for the ultimate intimate experience with your partner. The bar is centrally located providing perfectly crafted cocktails, wherever you land, and the menus are well known by foodies around the globe. We enjoyed a floating sushi board that was delivered to our private pool during sunset. They have tasting menus to die for and various dining events throughout the year. Sheer Rocks believes in supporting local farmers, fishermen, and artisan food producers, and all of the goods are sourced responsibly. We love the ethics, we love the taste, and we love the experience.  We took in the views, enjoyed the fresh fish, and reflected on the marriage advice we received from a local on the beach just a few hours prior.

 If you find yourself on this island, make it a priority to stop at Sheer Rocks for the most unique experience that will keep you coming back for more. Overall, the trip was almost as magical as my husband. A wonderful birthday celebration to remember, we’ll be back, Antigua.
