My Sentimental Paris Itinerary

You know how you associate places with feelings? Well, there’s no denying that Paris is the most well-known city in the world associated with feelings of love. All of my visits, whether it’s been with family, friends, or lovers, have been filled with all the endorphins and memories that I’ll cherish forever. This isn’t a typical tourist itinerary, but one that I hold close to my heart and one that may invoke similar romantic experiences in your life.

  1. Romeos. This is a favorite bistro amongst locals. It’s also where I had my wedding reception. Romeos is the perfect date night spot with delicious food and impeccable service. If you’re in the area I highly recommend stopping by for an intimate dinner.
  2. Indulge in fromage and beef tartar. These are two of my favorite foods and there is no shortage of either of them in Paris.
  3. Unwind and embrace the moments. If you are used to a fast paced environment, this may take some time to adjust to. The service in Paris is not fast, a meal may take hours. Really embrace the slow-paced environment while you have it and enjoy the moments with your loved ones. Stay present, entertain the conversations nearby, unwind, and reconnect.
  4. Enjoy a cappuccino outdoors. No matter the season, rain or shine, the people of Paris will always opt to enjoy a cappuccino outdoors (and I don’t mean a to-go coffee). Sit with the locals and savor your cappuccino.
  5. Make love in the city of love. Duh. Find your lover and drag them to Paris! This is a must on the bucket list.
  6. Shop luxury French brands. Paris is filled with beauty from every angle. The architecture, the food, the women, the clothing! Stock up on luxury designer clothing while you’re there. My husband bought me my first Chanel bag as a wedding gift while we were there.
  7. Laduree. My mom took me on a mother-daughter date here when I was younger, and I’ve loved it ever since. Laduree is an unforgettable experience, well known for their high tea and macaroons.
  8. Love Lock Bridge. I’ve put two locks here now, one with my mom and one with the love of my life. It’s a cute activity to solidify your love.
  9. Dinner in the Eiffel Tower. Dining in the Eiffel Tower is just the romantic thing to do. This was where my husband and I decided to eat dinner on the first official day of being married. There are incredible views, and you can feel love oozing at every table.
  10. Rue Des Martyrs. This is my favorite area of Paris. It’s filled with fromageries, adorable cafes, and winding streets of character. I have wonderful memories all over these streets and I look forward to making more as the years progress. Bring your family here for lunch or stroll through the streets hand-in hand with your significant other, either way this place will not disappoint.
